Studied in Government College, Sector 11, Chandigarh. He has organised and participated in various youth festivals, inter-state youth camps, N.S.S Camps, medical-aid camps in rural areas, legal-aid programmes for the poor and blood donation camps; undertook padyatras in Punjab for communal harmony; organised Rajiv Gandhi Child-to-Child National Integration camps.

| Montek Singh Ahluwalia (born November 24, 1943) is the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, India. He was appointed to hold the post on June 16, 2004 by the ruling UPA government. |
He was the first Director of the Independent Evaluation Office, International Monetary Fund (IMF). He assumed office on July 9, 2001. He had previously served as Finance Secretary, Special Secretary to the Prime Minister and Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Finance. In 2007 he became a member of the influential Washington-based financial advisory body, the Group of Thirty.

Shri Dinesh Rai is an Indian Administrative Services Officer of Uttar Pradesh Cadre (1974 Batch). He holds a double Postgraduate from Allahabad University (1971) and University of York, UK (1989). |
Prior to joining as Managing Director of National Cooperative Development Corporation, a statutory organization of Government of India, he has also worked in different capacities in the Government of Uttar Pradesh and also in the Government of India. In Uttar Pradesh, he was the Principal Secretary (Revenue), Principal Secretary (Technical Education), Secretary (Animal Husbandry and Fisheries), Secretary (Science and Technology), Director General of Council of Science & Technology. He has also worked as a District Magistrate of Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Pilibhit Districts of Uttar Pradesh. His area of specialization is policy planning and implementation, project appraisal and monitoring, financial management and maintenance of essential supplies. A keen golfer, Shri Rai has also been a sports person.

He has also initiated steps for fine-tuning existing products and setting up of Asset Reconstruction Company as well as Stock Exchange for the MSMEs. Shri Malla has over 34 years of experience in the commercial and development banking. He has done his Masters in Business Administration and Post Graduation in Business Management. He represent SIDBI in various committee by GoI, RBI and SEBI. Prior to SIDBI, he worked with Syndicate Bank, IDBI and IFCI Ltd. During his tenure with IDBI, he worked as Executive Director and then moved to IFCI as CEO. Presently, he is heading the subsidiaries/ associate concern of SIDBI viz. SIDBI Venture Co. Ltd., India SME Technology Services Ltd., SME Rating Agency of India Ltd., Indian SME Asset Reconstruction Co. Ltd.and Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises.

Shri Rewari was also the CEO of SIDBI Venture Capiral Ltd., a SIDBI subsidiary, which is now a key player in venture capital financing for SME units in India. Shri Rewari has 38 years of experience in commercial and development banking with leading financial institutions and banks in India covering a wide range of activities relating to MSME financing, venture financing, technology financing, entrepreneurship, micro credit, incubation funds, etc. Shri Rewari has a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Delhi followed by a MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.
